Christina Dickerson

Christina Dickerson graduated from DePauw University in 2008 with a B.A. in Classical Civilizations. At DePauw, she participated in two classics Winter Term trips to Italy in 2006 (Pompeii) and 2008 (Rome, Florence, and Venice). In the summer of 2007, she participated as a student excavator for the Kenchreai Cemetery Project, coordinated through Macalester University and The American School of Classical Studies at Athens. In the 2008-2009 academic year she stayed on at DePauw as a 5th-year intern creating a database of artifacts for the use of the university. As an intern, she taught a Winter Term course entitled Ancient Cultures and Modern Film. Her interest lies predominantly in Roman archaeology of the early imperial period, and in exploring the Greek religious and cultural influence in the art world.
