Andrew Henry
Andrew Henry graduated from Messiah College in 2010 with a
> B.A. in History.
Andrew is interested in the religious archaeology and history of Late Antiquity. Specific interests within this field include the persistence of the Hellenic religion in Late Antiquity, syncretic ritual practices such as magic, and comparing private vs. public expressions of Christian faith.
Andrew has participated in the Pyla-Koutsopetria Archaeological Project, a landscape survey and excavation of a Late Antique settlement near Larnaca, Cyprus. Since joining the post-bac program last year, Andrew has worked in Penn's Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology as a digital specialist for the Cuneiform Digital Library Initiative. He also works as a collections assistant for the Museum's Mellon grant initiative.
