Education:
B.A.'s in Anthropology and Linguistics from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio in May 2011.
Research and Teaching Interests:
His interests include Anglo-Saxon language and culture, sociocultural implications surrounding Medieval Latin, heroic and epic poetry (English, Spanish, Latin, Old English, Greek), the history of the English language, and church history. While at Miami he completed a Senior Honors Thesis about the Old English Biblical-Epic poem "Exodus". He will be presenting his findings at the 2011 Southeastern Medieval Conference in Decatur, GA. He also spent a semester in India with the Dalai Lama and Tibetan exile community studying language ideology and oppression. He looks forward to merging his diverse disciplinary points of view in future work and research in Medieval Studies.
