Sabrina Janesick

Education:
Sabrina Janesick graduated from New York University in 2011 with a B.A. in English and American Literature and Classical Civilizations. Her Honors Thesis focused on questions of free will and character motivation in the Iliad, as influenced by the constraints of the warrior culture and the divine framework represented within the text.
Research and Teaching Interests:
More broadly, she is interested in studying the development of the genre of epic poetry as well as its reception across the Indo-European world. Her other interests include Greek and Latin pastoral and cosmological poetry.
