Sara Jones received a B.A. in Classics with Distinction in the Major from the University of California in Santa Barbara in 2010. She volunteered for two seasons on the Priniatikos Pyrgos Archaeological Project in East Crete, and in 2008 she began work as a Research Assistant for Dr. Erickson (UCSB), focusing on the Classical pottery from the site. The following summer, she returned to the Greek island in order to analyze pottery for her own research on ceramic production and trade during the Hellenistic period. She hopes to attend a graduate program in Classical Archaeology upon completion of her Post-Baccalaureate studies at the University of Pennsylvania.
