Joanna Kenty graduated from Wesleyan University in Middletown, CT in 2008, where she earned a B.A. in Classics and was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa. She also studied at the Intercollegiate Center for Classical Studies in Rome in Spring 2007. She entered Penn's post-baccalaureate program in Classical Studies in 2008 and the Ph.D. program in 2009. For now her main interest is the intellectual history of the Roman Republic and early Principate, but she also hopes to explore Greek tragedy in the future.
