Kelsey received her B.A. in Ancient Studies and Art History from Mount Holyoke College in 2011, her A.A. in Visual Art from Berkshire Community College in 2009, and a certificate in Computer-Assisted Drafting from McCann Technical High School in 2006, focusing on Architectural Design.

Research and Teaching Interests: 

Her interests are in Classical Art and Archaeology, including the special effects and machinery of the ancient theater, artistic representations of the theater and their relationship with funerary art, the cultural overlap between Greece, Rome, and Egypt, and the relationship between ancient literature and artistic tradition.

Other Professional Activity: 

At the Mount Holyoke College Art Museum she was involved in the research of Greco-Roman objects displayed in the collaborative exhibit “Reconstructing Antiquity,” made possible by the Yale University Art Gallery Collection-Sharing Initiative and the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation.
