Ashley Rees-Jones graduated cum laude (Archaeology with a minor in Classical Studies) from Dickinson College in 2010. She was invited during her junior year to participate in the Dickinson Excavation Project and Archaeological Survey in the Lower town of Mycenae, Greece. Her main area of focus is Late Bronze Age Greece, with particular emphasis on funerary customs, having written her senior thesis on Suttee Burials in Ancient Greece.
