Noah Segal
Education:
Noah is from Cincinnati, Ohio and received a B.A. in Ancient History and Classics from The Ohio State University in June, 2011.
Research and Teaching Interests:
His primary academic interests are in the rhetoric of politics in the late Roman Republic and the Roman audience that heard it. While at Ohio State Noah completed the intensive Latin workshop in the Summer of 2009 and he wrote an undergraduate thesis on the use of rhetoric by Cicero in the Verrine Orations. Moving forward Noah wants to study how Roman audiences interacted with public speakers and to what extent their responses influenced aristocratic orators.
