This course is for those who have completed ancient Greek102 or equivalent. You are now ready to begin reading real Greek! We will read a selection of passages from Greek prose authors, focusing on language and style. There will be regular quizzes. The course will include some grammar review. |

We will read one example of each of the types of comedy that developed in classical Greece: Satyr drama (Euripides’ Cyclops), Old Comedy (Aristophanes’ Clouds) and New Comedy (Menander’s Dyscolus or The Grouch) |
