Intensive Elementary Latin

(2 course units.) This course is an intensive introduction covering the first year of college-level Latin. It is equivalent to LATN 101 + 102 at more than twice the normal pace.  Recommended for students with some background in learning other languages. Course text: Keller and Russell. Learn to Read Latin (Yale University Press).

Intermediate Latin
LATN 212-920

COHN 204

(2 course units.) This course is an intensive immersion in Latin reading combined with grammar review, covering the second year of college-level Latin. It is equivalent to LATN 203 + 204 at more than twice the normal pace. The syllabus is focused on two topics from Roman literature: (1) The Dream; (2) The Spectacle.
