This conference brings together early scholars from numerous fields to address the questions surrounding motion in the ancient world.  The Keynote Lecture will begin at 6PM, Friday, Feb 28th in Widener Lecture Hall of the Penn Museum, featuring Dr. Shinu Anna Abraham of St. Lawrence University, giving her talk: "Materializing Motion Across Maritime Spaces: Indian Ocean Glass Beads in the First Millennia BCE/CE”
