Since it's founding in 2011, the Paideia Institute for Humanistic Study, a independent non-profit organization promoting the study of Latin, Ancient Greek, and the classical humanities, has grown into a multi-million dollar, global organization offering study abroad-programs, online classes, digital humanities projects, its own journal, and innovative outreach programming in the field of Classics. The Institute's President and co-founder, Dr. Jason Pedicone, will tell the story of the Institute's growth and development, and discuss the challenges and opportunities involved in promoting the humanities in today's economy.
