Gaius Sulpicius Apollinaris, of Carthage. A distinguished grammarian of the 2nd century A.D., and teacher of Aulus Gellius (q.v.). His extant writings consist of metrical summaries of the comedies of Terence and of the Aeneid of Virgil.
