CLST Grad Julia Simons was selected as a finalist in the Humanities division for the 2019 Grad Ben Talks!
Grad Ben Talks is an afternoon of TED Talk-style presentations by Penn Arts and Sciences graduate students representing the Humanities, Social Sciences, Natural Sciences, and Professional Master’s programs.
Julia’s talk Crooked: Hippocrates Against the Medical Maltreatment of Hunchbacks will be delivered during the Humanities presentations from 2:30-3:15 next Friday, February 22 in Amado Recital Hall, Irvine Auditorium (3401 Spruce Street).
There will be a $500 prize for the Overall Audience Choice Winner selected by online votes, so it’s really important to get the word out and drive attendance to support Julia!
