Penn Museum: Excavating Kourion on Cyprus: Past and Present

The University of Pennsylvania excavations at Kourion kept detailed records that make it possible for new generations of archaeologists to re-excavate these same sites through the archives of field notebooks and photographs as well as the objects found in tombs, a Late Bronze Age settlement, and a sanctuary dedicated to Apollo.

This lecture is on Wednesday, April 13, 2016 at the Penn Museum, Classroom 2 @ 6 PM.

This lecture is presented in conjunction with the student-curated exhibition: “Kourion at the Crossroads: Exploring Ancient Cyprus" at the Penn Museum through March 5, 2017.
