On October 28th, Sheila Murnaghan will speak on "Reading the Mind of Ajax" at NYU's Ranieri Colloquium on Classics and Cognitive Theory. Her paper uses insights from cognitive science on attribution and theory of mind to consider how various characters make sense of the famously difficult "deception speech" in Sophocles' Ajax.
