Dr. Caroline Solazzo of the University of York and the Smithsonian Museum Conservation Institute will speak on "Proteomics in archaeology: methodologies, applications and limitations. Biomolecular analysis of cultural artifacts from the Nahal Hemar cave, Israel, as a case study."
 
Dr. Lorenz Rahmstorf of the Saxo Institute, University of Copenhagen will speak on "Tipping the scales: the impact of weight metrology on Early Bronze Age economy."
