Title: "Whose Classics?"

Abstract: Whose Classics - my talk grew out of a search for ways to ground my autobiographical methodologies with incarcerated women. I was seeking a way to share storytelling with women in "lockdown". Classical literature is a perfect vehicle that generates performative material( poetry, monologues and dialogues based in personal transformation.
