Our next First Friday will be this Friday, April 2nd from 2-3:30 PM. On our final First Friday of the semester, we will be reflecting on First Fridays past, thinking about next steps, and sharing resources for taking future anti-racist action. Our conversation will be prompted by the article “The Non-Performativity of Anti-Racism” by Sarah Ahmed.

The First Friday series this year consists of structured conversations centered on the topics of race, racism, and anti-racism in Classical Studies, the university, and beyond. This series is hosted and organized by members of the Anti-Racism Working Group in Classical Studies.
