Thursday, March 26, 6.00-7.00 EST

We hope everyone is safe and well at the moment. While our time on-campus has been cut short this semester, the opportunities to get to know the department and be a part of the community do not have to end. That is why the Classics Board is proud to announce that we will be hosting a live virtual Facultea with Professor Cynthia Damon (https://www.classics.upenn.edu/people/cynthia-damon) this Thursday, March 26th, from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM EST. Join us as we talk with Professor Damon about her interests in the communicative function of writing, her commentary and translation work, her upcoming project of studying Pliny’s Natural History and its reception, and much more! The details for joining the Facultea through Zoom are available by emailing pennclassicsboard@gmail.com.

We look forward to seeing you all soon, and keep an eye out for other opportunities to keep involved coming out soon.

Hosted by the Classics Board. Contact: pennclassicsboard@gmail.com for more information.
