Upcoming Talks by Sheila Murnaghan

On May 12th Sheila Murnaghan will present "A Kind of Minotaur: Mythical Monsters in the Works of Nathaniel Hawthorne,” at a conference on “Chasing Mythical Beasts: Reception of Creatures from Graeco-Roman Mythology in Young Adult Culture,” at the University of Warsaw. 

Additionally on May 20th she will be the keynote speaker at the University of Washington, Seattle. Her presentation is titled  “Passionate Objectivity: Modern Women Writers Look Back at the Classics, “Feminism and Classics VII: Visions.”

Past Presenation: April 15th  “Reading the Mind of Ajax,” at a conference on “Minds on Stage: Cognitive Approaches to Greek Tragedy” at the University of Leiden.
