Johanna Kaiser

BA in Classical Studies and Art History from Ruprecht-Karls-Universität Heidelberg, 2016 Entered the PhD program at Penn, 2016

Johanna's primary research interests are rooted in theoretical approaches to Latin poetry of the Augustan and Neronian periods. She is interested in what and how these literatures remember, something she explored in her bachelor's thesis on materiality and processes of communication in literary dreams, especially in Ovid's Metamorphoses. Other interests include aesthetics, society and, reception theory.
