CAPER |
Form: Flavius. |
A Latin scholar of some, note, who flourished in the 2nd century A.D., and whose writings were frequently used and quoted by the later grammarians. Only two small treatises bearing his name have come down to us, the De Orthographia ("On Orthography") and De Verbis Dubiis ("On Irregular Words"); but these are only meagre extracts from the original works. |
