Department of Classical Studies
Beginning July 1, 2022, Sheila (Bridget) Murnaghan became the Chair of Classical Studies for a two year term. Her current scholarship is focused on Sophocles: a commentary on Ajax for the Cambridge Greek and Roman Classics (“Green and Yellow”) series, and a new translation of Oedipus at Colonus for a Norton Critical Edition.
We look forward to her leadership in the coming years!
