Course Planning

Regular courses

Our courses taught on a recurring basis at various levels, with our four course-codes (ANCH, CLST, LATN, GREK), can be used to fulfill College requirements (foreign language, sectors, etc.) as well as most requirements for our minors and majors.

Special course-types

  • Cross-listed courses in Anthropology, Art History, English, Near-Eastern Languages and Cultures, Philosophy, and Political Science.
  • Courses taken on study abroad programs, in Rome, Athens, or elsewhere.
  • Summer courses and archaeological field schools.
  • Independent study with a faculty member, usually in connection with a Senior Research Paper.
  • Graduate courses taught at the 5000-level and above, sometimes open to advanced undergraduates.
